LET'S TALK: While we adapt to CV19, I offer therapy both online and in person in my back garden to ensure confidentiality, continuity & support for mental health. I generally see individuals weekly & couples fortnightly

I'm Glenda Page, a Psychotherapist, Counsellor & Clinical Supervisor, working with youths, adults & couples in central Guildford (my base in GU1). I adapt to your unique needs, working with a range of issues and multi-cultural challenges.

I also offer therapy or clinical supervision to trainee & qualified psychotherapists or counsellors.

Text or email me (see pink sidebar tabs) your name and contact details. I will get back to you.

Here is a download to VSee which I use as it was created for telehealth, is more confidential than Zoom and others and is free.

Home. Big Question

WHY SEE ME?

When life gets tough, support is vital and hard to seek. You want to fix it all by yourself, but your coping strategies no longer work.

I offer non-judgmental empathy, clarity, understanding & confidence to help you live life more comfortably. We work together to find YOUR way at YOUR pace to make whatever changes work well for YOU. Importantly, I support you to understand what is your responsibility and what is not in this life we all share.

I work with most life challenges including, but not limited to, trauma, loss, depression, anxiety, stress, addiction, serious medical diagnosis, fertility problems, relationship breakdown, divorce, abuse, life change, transgender challenges and personality disorders.

Life's crises and difficulties are invariably relational in nature. I do not "fix" but I help you give shape to your challenges, face them and better manage them - from living a fulfilling & happy life on your own, in a couple or within a family; to times of transition like university, first job, new job, seeking a satisfying job, keeping it, surviving working life, building resilience, achieving work-life balance, separation, divorce, illness, death - to changes within yourself - your thoughts, your memories, your feelings, your behaviour, your sex, your gender.

I've lived in different cultures and understand how to support multi-cultural challenges that flow from globalisation's growth and retraction, the rise of isolationism and, now, the removal of or disruption to personal choice. I work comfortably with culturally diverse clients and different cultural "norms".

Having also had a lot of working world experience, I support the employed & self employed to build resilience and to deal more comfortably with the struggles of a 24/7 world and the challenge of "all change" while we learn to live with CV19. I help the unemployed build or rebuild their resourcefulness, sense of self worth, motivation. I help you find work you value and that values you. I help youths move more confidently toward maturity.

I see individuals, youths & couples and offer supervision at my central Guildford base in GU1.

Home. Integrative

MYSTERY to MASTERY

I work integratively, blending my skills to meet your needs & to help you find your way to something better.

Therapy is a two way process. We commit to working together. We develop a trusting & reliable therapeutic bond to find your way to manage your challenges, exploring and understanding your thoughts, feelings & behaviour. This can open up choices toward a more comfortable way of responding to life, others and living.
